These terms apply to work accepted by Verge & Vortex Property Services (VVPS). A written quote, booking confirmation or agreed scope may add detail for a particular job.
Scope and quotes
Quotes describe the work we understand is requested and may identify exclusions or assumptions. If access, surface condition or the requested scope changes, we will discuss the change before proceeding where practical.
Access and customer responsibilities
Please provide safe access, working water and power where agreed, remove fragile items, secure pets and tell us about hazards, underground services or previous damage. We may pause work where conditions are unsafe or materially different from the agreed scope.
Pricing and payment
Pricing is based on the agreed scope, access and site conditions. A deposit may be required for larger or more complex work. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due within seven days of completion.
Weather and scheduling
Outdoor work can be affected by rain, wind, heat or surface moisture. We may reschedule where conditions could affect safety or the suitability of the method.
Completion and limitations
Results vary with age, condition, material, staining and previous repairs. We use a method we assess as suitable, but some marks, weathering or defects may remain. Our Warranty & Limitations page explains this in more detail.
Safety and liability
We take reasonable care, follow the agreed scope and communicate material issues. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded.
