Changing a booking
We understand that circumstances can change. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change the date, access arrangements or scope, and we will confirm what can be rearranged and whether site conditions affect the new plan.
Where it is reasonably possible, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. That gives us the best chance of offering the time to someone else and finding a slot that suits you.
Cancellation
Cancellation terms, if any, will be explained in the written quote or booking confirmation. We aim to be reasonable and will consider the notice given, preparation already undertaken and any third-party costs.
Short-notice cancellation
Cancelling at short notice, including shortly before the scheduled arrival time, can affect reserved scheduling, preparation, planning, travel and other reasonable business commitments.
Where it is permitted by law and appropriate to the circumstances, we may apply a reasonable administration and preparation amount that has been disclosed to you before the booking is accepted. Where that amount applies, it is up to 15% of the amount paid, capped at $75, whichever is the lower figure.
This is not a penalty, and it does not apply automatically to every situation. We look at the notice given and the preparation actually undertaken.
Payments made before a service
Where payment is made before a scheduled service, it may secure your place in the schedule and, where required, the preparation and planning for the agreed work.
If a booking is cancelled after relevant preparation or scheduling commitments have already occurred, the disclosed administration and preparation provision may apply where it is lawful to do so.
Rescheduled work that goes ahead
If you reschedule and we later complete the job, we may, where appropriate, credit an applicable administration and preparation amount toward your final invoice.
Weather and unsafe conditions
We may reschedule outdoor work when conditions could make it unsafe or unsuitable. That can include rain, wind, the weather forecast, temperature, surface conditions, safety, access, seasonal conditions, public holidays or other legitimate operational circumstances.
Weather and safety can change quickly, so less than 24 hours’ notice is sometimes unavoidable. We will communicate as soon as reasonably practicable and work with you to find another suitable time.
Deposits
Any deposit treatment will follow the written quote or booking confirmation. If you have a question, contact us before the booking date.
