Requesting a booking
Tell us the property location, the work you have in mind and any access details. We may ask for photos or a site visit where that helps us understand the scope.
Confirmation
A booking is confirmed when the agreed scope, price, scheduled timing and any applicable deposit or access requirements are confirmed in writing. A general enquiry or a provisional time is not a confirmed booking.
Written confirmation
VVPS uses written confirmation as the final business record of the agreed scope, price, variations and approvals. It also records the booking timing, access requirements, any additional work and other relevant requirements you have asked for.
Written confirmation may be a signed document, an email, an SMS or a recorded electronic acceptance that we accept. We are always happy to talk things through by phone, and a quick call is often the easiest way to sort something out — we simply put the outcome in writing so we are both working from the same record.
Information you provide
Our planning and pricing rely on the information you give us. If that information is materially incomplete or inaccurate and it affects the scope, we may reassess the proposed work before going ahead with materially different work.
Access and preparation
Please make gates, parking, water and power available as agreed, secure pets and move fragile items. Let us know about strata rules, tenant access, hazards or restricted areas before the day.
Changes and recommendations
If the scope or conditions change, we will explain the practical impact and agree the next step before additional work is undertaken where possible.
A recommendation is guidance, not an instruction to proceed. It does not automatically authorise additional work, and anything outside the agreed scope is confirmed with you first.
For changes or cancellations, see the Cancellation Policy.
