Pricing & quotes

Quote-ready homeowner checklist

A short list to organise what you already know before you request a quote. The goal is a clearer conversation — not construction, and not a guaranteed price.

Why this helps

Many people know what bothers them (“the driveway looks tired”, “the gutters overflow”) without knowing the service name. That is enough to start.

The contact form already asks for service, suburb, property type, name and how to reach you. This page is a thinking aid so the message field — or a follow-up email — can include the extras that often change a conversation.

Property

  • Suburb and postcode
  • Property type (house, townhouse, unit, strata, commercial, or not sure)

What you are considering

  • The service or project in your own words
  • Approximate area or dimensions, if you know them
  • Surface type if known (or “not sure”)
  • Current condition — dirty, stained, worn, new, previously sealed, or mixed

Access and site notes

  • Access — parking, gates, hose distance, stairs, tight side access
  • Anything unusual — pets, tenants, strata rules, water restrictions, nearby gardens or glass

Contact and timing

  • Preferred contact method — phone or email
  • Timing — as soon as practical, around a date, or no rush
  • Relevant photos — take them now, send them after you submit the enquiry

About photos

This website does not upload files with the quote form. Submit the enquiry first, then reply to our email with photos if you have them. Photos can help with access and surface condition. They are still not a substitute for a site review where the work needs one.

If you have measurements

Approximate length and width can help. If you are planning materials for your own project, Property Tools can turn those numbers into a mathematical result and a separate 10% planning estimate. Those figures are for planning. They are not a VVPS job price.

What this checklist is not

  • It is not a construction brief or a “Share My Project” product.
  • It is not an instant quote.
  • It does not replace looking at the property when that is needed.

If you want to understand why quotes can differ, see pressure washing cost factors, driveway cleaning and sealing cost factors, and Why Two Quotes Can Differ.

Use what you have. Incomplete notes are still useful. The next step is the existing VVPS quote form.
